1. What this document covers
This document covers the introduction website at saisoop.co.kr and inquiries sent to contact@saisoop.co.kr. The current website has no account registration, payment, or inquiry form.
Simply opening this website does not collect the account information, meetup records, posts, or expense data illustrated in the app screenshots. Before information is processed in the app, a separate privacy policy and any required consent information will be provided.
2. Email inquiries
If you send an email, the information processed includes your sending address, the name displayed in the email, your message, attachments, and correspondence. It is used as needed to review and answer your inquiry and resolve follow-up issues. You can browse the website without making an inquiry.
Please do not include national identification numbers, passwords, payment authentication details, or unnecessary sensitive information. If more information is needed, its purpose and scope will be explained separately.
Proposed retention approach: Unnecessary information will be deleted without undue delay once an inquiry is resolved. Any records needed for follow-up will have a defined purpose and retention end point. Specific periods, legal bases, and deletion arrangements for mailboxes and backups must be confirmed for the final policy.
3. Language preferences and browser storage
On a first visit, the website reads your browser’s preferred languages to choose Korean or English. It does not look up your country or physical location using your IP address.
When you select KO or EN, the website stores ko or en in your browser’s local storage under saisoop.language. This keeps your choice for a later visit. The website code does not separately transmit this value to a server.
This value has no automatic expiry. You can remove it by clearing site data or block storage in your browser; language-specific URLs will still work. The current website code does not include advertising or analytics cookies or tracking scripts.
4. Web requests and service providers
Delivering a webpage sends technical information to its server, such as an IP address, request time and URL, and browser information. Whether this is stored in logs, and for how long, depends on the actual web server and hosting configuration.
The hosting and email providers, processing countries, and log retention settings have not been confirmed for this draft. The final policy must state the actual data, purposes, legal bases, retention periods, processors and their tasks, and any applicable international transfer basis and notices. Unverified arrangements are not described as “no collection” or “no international transfers.”
6. Access, correction, deletion, and other requests
To request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent relating to your information, contact contact@saisoop.co.kr. Requests through a legal representative or authorized agent will also be considered. Only the identity verification needed to respond to a request should be required.
If a request must be restricted under applicable law, the reason and available options will be explained. Email deletion and browser language preferences have different controls: you can remove the latter using your browser’s site data settings.
7. Retention, deletion, and safeguards
This draft proposes restricting personal information access to people who need it, managing account security and permissions, and deleting unnecessary information in a way that makes recovery difficult. Any printed records should be securely shredded or otherwise appropriately destroyed.
Where the law requires retention, the basis, data, and period will be explained separately, and retained records will be limited to that purpose. Actual server, email, and backup safeguards and deletion procedures must be verified before publication.
8. Contact and policy changes
Send privacy questions and requests to contact@saisoop.co.kr. Confirmed details of the data controller and privacy contact will be included in the final policy.
You can also seek guidance from Korea’s Personal Information Infringement Report Center or Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.
The final policy and any later revisions will identify their preparation or revision date, effective date, and important changes. Previous versions will be kept available for reference.
