1. Purpose and scope
These terms set out the conditions, rights, and responsibilities between the operator of saisoop (“the operator”) and its users. saisoop is the name of a service for discovering meetups, managing participants, connecting communities, and organizing shared expenses.
Browsing the introduction website and sending an email inquiry are distinct from using the app after launch. Provisions about accounts, meetups, and posts apply when those features are available and the required agreement process has been completed. Visiting this website does not create an account or a paid contract.
2. Access to these terms and changes
The operator will make these terms and their important provisions available before registration. Additional conditions for individual services will be explained before use. Club or feature rules cannot override rights protected by law.
Changes will normally be announced at least 7 days in advance, with their reasons and effective date. Important changes unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days in advance. Separate consent will be obtained where required. Users who do not accept a change may stop using the service and request termination.
3. Accounts and eligibility
App registration is for people aged 19 or older. Users must provide accurate information, complete required agreements, and verify their own account as required. Optional marketing consent is not a condition of registration.
Impersonation, stolen accounts, account sales or transfers, and false information used to evade restrictions are prohibited. Keep your credentials secure and tell the operator if you suspect unauthorized access. Users are not made responsible for security failures attributable to the service.
4. Service availability and changes
Where available, saisoop supports meetup discovery and applications, club management, participation and attendance, posts, photos, polls, shared expenses, stamps, and activity records. Pre-launch screens and examples explain features; they do not guarantee a launch date or the availability of every feature.
Maintenance, outages, security incidents, or service changes may interrupt features. Planned interruptions will be announced in advance where possible; urgent interruptions will be explained as soon as practicable. Before paid services are introduced, pricing, payment, cancellation, and refund conditions will be provided separately.
5. Organizing and joining meetups
Organizers must accurately describe the time, place, eligibility, capacity, costs, preparation, and cancellation conditions needed to make an informed decision. They must notify participants of important changes. Participants should review those details before applying and communicate cancellations or changes promptly.
Organizers and participants must respect safety and the rights of others. Individual meetups are run by their organizers unless saisoop explicitly identifies itself as the organizer. This distinction does not remove the operator’s own legal responsibilities.
6. Participation fees and shared expenses
Shared expense features record who paid, each person’s share, and which payments recipients have confirmed. Under the approach currently shown, users make bank transfers separately. App records do not replace bank transaction records.
The person recording a cost must check the actual expense, participants, and allocation. Recipients should confirm only payments they have actually received. Errors or disagreements should be checked with the people involved and corrected. A displayed amount does not conclusively determine every legal debt between users.
Cancellation and refunds for fees paid directly to an organizer are handled with the recipient under the disclosed conditions and applicable law. Refund disputes or false expenses can be reported to the operator. These terms do not indicate that platform payments, cash top-ups, or automatic bank transfers are available.
7. Stamps and activity records
Stamps and activity points record activities and contributions under each club’s rules. Organizers should record verified activities and explain completion conditions and rewards before participation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, activity points are not cash, deposits, or assets with a guaranteed payout. Changes to rules and corrections to records must be explained and handled reasonably.
8. Content and intellectual property
Users or the original rights holders retain rights to their posts. Upload only content you are entitled to share. Do not disclose another person’s face, contact details, location, or other personal information without permission.
The operator may store, display, transmit, and resize content only as needed to provide the service within the visibility selected by the user. Broader uses, such as separate advertising, require the necessary permission or consent.
Users may request deletion through available features or by contacting the operator. Any records legally required to be retained, and their retention periods, will be described in the privacy policy. Rights to the service’s trademarks, design, and software belong to their respective owners.
9. Prohibited conduct and safety
- Fraud, impersonation, false payment confirmations, or manipulated expense and activity records
- Threats, harassment, stalking, sexual exploitation, or illegal content
- Unauthorized collection or disclosure of personal information, or unauthorized account or system access
- Spam, malware, excessive service load, or interference with other users
- Infringement of intellectual property or other rights, or unlawful meetups and transactions
Club organizers must clearly communicate their own rules, which must also comply with these terms and applicable law.
10. Reports, restrictions, and appeals
Report violations through an available reporting feature or at contact@saisoop.co.kr. Share only relevant information and avoid unnecessarily exposing a person’s private details.
The operator may restrict content, issue warnings, or limit features or accounts according to the violation, repetition, and harm involved. Where possible, reasons, duration, and an appeal route will be explained, and responses will be reviewed. Urgent protection or legal requirements may require action before notice.
11. Ending use and handling data
Users may request account closure or termination. Matters requiring separate arrangements, such as active meetups or unsettled expenses, will be explained during that process. Ending use does not erase an existing payment obligation or a valid refund right.
Deletion timing, any cancellation window, and records retained will be explained in the request flow and app privacy policy. Unnecessary personal information will not be retained indefinitely merely because a dispute might arise.
12. Responsibility and disputes
The operator and users are responsible under applicable law for harm attributable to them. These terms do not exclude liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including the operator’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or users’ statutory rights.
Questions and disputes may be sent to contact@saisoop.co.kr. The parties should cooperate to establish the facts and seek a reasonable resolution. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply, without excluding mandatory consumer protections applicable to a user. Court jurisdiction is determined by applicable law.
13. Privacy and language
Personal information is addressed in the Privacy Policy. The current website privacy document covers this introduction website and email inquiries. A separate policy for app account data will be finalized and provided before app launch.
The Korean and English documents are intended to communicate the same terms. If their interpretations differ, the Korean wording will be used for clarification, without limiting rights protected by mandatory law.
